This Privacy Policy explains how Muxora ("Muxora", "the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App, with particular attention to the Moment Soundtrack feature, which turns your description of a moment, memory, feeling, or imagined scene into AI-generated music, cover art, and a title. Please read this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Summary
- The text you enter in Moment Soundtrack and any other AI prompts are sent to our servers and to a third-party AI provider to generate audio, artwork, and titles.
- Your moment descriptions can reveal your moods, feelings, memories, and personal events. Treat them as personal and avoid including information you do not want processed by an AI service.
- Your moment descriptions and generated tracks are stored on your device; generated media may also be temporarily cached on our servers as part of generation and delivery.
- We use analytics, crash-diagnostics, and advertising services. Ads may use your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Content you create
- Moment descriptions and prompts — the text you type to describe a moment, memory, feeling, scene, or the music you want. This text is the input to the generation feature.
- Generated content — the music tracks, cover images, and titles produced from your input, plus the metadata you add (e.g., the date of the entry, playlists you create).
2.2 Usage and analytics data
Through Google Firebase Analytics we collect aggregated, event-level information such as which features you use (for example: a soundtrack was created, played, or saved), session timing, app version, device model, operating-system version, language, and approximate region. These events are used to understand and improve the App, not to read the content of your entries.
2.3 Diagnostics
Through Firebase Crashlytics we collect crash reports and technical diagnostics (device state, stack traces, identifiers needed to group crashes) so we can fix stability problems.
2.4 Advertising data
We use Google AdMob to display ads to users who are not subscribed. Ad providers may process your IP address, device and ad identifiers, and ad-interaction data. On iOS, access to the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking is requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and is used only if you grant permission. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
2.5 Purchase data
Subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly plans) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive transaction and subscription-status information from Apple needed to unlock features and manage your usage allowance. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
2.6 Technical data
When the App communicates with our servers we automatically process standard technical data such as IP address, request timestamps, and basic device information for security, abuse prevention, and service delivery.
3. How AI Generation Works (Important)
When you create a Moment Soundtrack or use any generation feature, the text you provide is transmitted over a
secure connection to our backend (cbt.naody.net), which forwards it to our third-party AI processor,
Replicate, Inc., and the models running on it (including Meta's MusicGen for audio and a large
language model for titles and image prompts). These services generate the audio, artwork, and titles that are
returned to your device.
This means your moment description leaves your device and is processed by these providers. Do not enter passwords, financial details, government identifiers, health information, or anything you consider highly sensitive. Moment descriptions may include moods and personal events, and you remain in control of what you write.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide the core feature: turn your input into music, cover art, and titles, and build your personal soundtrack library.
- To store, play back, and let you manage your generated tracks.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App and prevent abuse of generation limits.
- To show ads to non-subscribers and to measure ad and feature performance.
- To process subscriptions and enforce usage allowances.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
5. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | App distribution, subscriptions, ATT | Purchase/subscription status, identifiers |
| Replicate, Inc. (and underlying AI models) | Generate music, artwork, titles | Your prompts and moment descriptions |
| Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) | Usage analytics and crash diagnostics | Event and device data, diagnostics |
| Google AdMob | Advertising | Ad and device identifiers, IP, ad interactions |
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- On your device: your moment descriptions and generated tracks are stored locally and remain until you delete them or remove the App.
- On our servers: prompts and generated media may be processed and temporarily cached to deliver results and are retained only as long as needed for that purpose and for reasonable abuse-prevention and operational logging.
- Analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and purchase records are retained according to the respective providers' policies and applicable law.
7. International Transfers
Our service providers, including Replicate, Apple, and Google, may process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the App you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, with safeguards as required by applicable law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Delete your content: you can delete individual moment soundtracks and generated tracks in the App, and you can delete all local data by removing the App.
- Advertising: you can decline or revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset your advertising identifier there.
- Access, correction, deletion, and other rights (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA): depending on your location you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel anytime in the App Store account settings.
9. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the generation feature), on the basis of your consent (e.g., personalized advertising via ATT), and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App.
10. Children's Privacy
Muxora is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
